Job Description
Freelance Translator/Linguist role at ElevenLabs focusing on editing AI-assisted translations for various media. Collaborating with teams to maintain high linguistic standards and cultural relevance.
Responsibilities:
- Editing and refining AI-assisted translations for fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness
- Localizing scripts for dubbing, voiceover, and multimedia content
- Ensuring terminology consistency across projects and maintaining glossaries where needed
- Collaborating with dubbing and audio teams to ensure translations perform well in spoken form
Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in one or more supported languages
- Proven experience in professional translation and/or localization
- Strong understanding of cultural nuance and audience adaptation
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time
