Job Description
Remote Chuukese Interpreter at Organica Interpreting Corp providing interpretation services for various settings. Facilitating communication between English and Chuukese speakers in medical, legal, and social service environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide over-the-phone and video consecutive interpretation in medical, legal, and social service environments
- Accurately convey messages while maintaining professional neutrality and confidentiality
- Research terminology to ensure a thorough understanding of specialized fields
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity to bridge gaps between diverse backgrounds
Requirements:
- Native-level or near-native fluency in both Chuukese and English (C1/C2 level)
- Ability to handle high-pressure or sensitive situations with grace
- Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities
- Previous interpretation experience is preferred
