Job Description

Freelance Video Editor creating engaging YouTube content on AI and writing tools for QuillBot. Transforming raw footage into polished videos while ensuring brand consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the content brief to execute requested edits, ensuring each video meets goals for structure, pacing, visual storytelling, and brand consistency.
  • Transform raw footage into clear, engaging, well-structured mid-length videos (1–10 minutes) that communicate content effectively.
  • Add visual examples, annotations, callouts, and other on-screen elements to enhance understanding and engagement.
  • Create strong visual hooks and suggest eye-catching thumbnails to attract viewers.
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently, including logos, colors, and fonts.
  • Repurpose existing mid-length video content into polished short-form videos.
  • Assist with quality control by reviewing final videos before publication to ensure high standards.

Requirements:

  • A native-level English speaker
  • Experienced in video editing for online platforms (YouTube preferred)
  • Comfortable using editing software and brand assets
  • Able to follow detailed content briefs and execute requested edits independently
  • Registered as a business owner (KvK or VAT number)
  • Interested in AI, AI writing tools, and generative engine optimization
  • Comfortable working independently
  • A strong communicator who is able to collaborate effectively with a content team
  • Available for 24 hours a week
