Job Description

Video Editor/Motion Designer crafting transformational visual stories at Prison Fellowship. Focused on storytelling and maintaining high production quality for various media formats.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality editing, light motion support, finishing, and disciplined content organization with strong story judgment, modern digital pacing, and responsible use of GenAI tools
  • Repurpose and maximize production assets and prepare deliverables for social media, web, broadcast, CTV/DRM, LMS, and ministry environments
  • Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
  • Collaborate and provide creative direction within the team

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in video or film editing
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production or Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of work that aligns with industry standards
  • Extensive knowledge of digital cinematography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects)
  • Proficiency in video storytelling techniques and post-production processes
  • Familiarity with color correction, audio mixing, and special effects
  • Knowledge of media management technologies and platforms
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Robust problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling issues
