Job Description
Wholesale banking advisor managing commercial client relationships, credit commitments, and cross-sell initiatives at Fifth Third Bank. Delivering client service, billing oversight, implementations, and risk compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and own day-to-day client relationship management for assigned commercial clients
- Drive client retention, satisfaction/loyalty, cross-sell opportunities, and revenue growth
- Maintain and develop credit commitments in accordance with Fifth Third Bank Commercial Loan Policy
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure appropriate fee realization
- Maintain client document files and account operations according to compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Manage product enhancement initiatives, cross-sell penetration, and introduction of new services
- Extend and monitor existing and proposed credit commitments
- Provide industry-specific customer service support and assist in cross-sell efforts as a trusted advisor
- Ensure appropriate booking and reporting of collateralized deposits
- Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks within the Bank's risk appetite
- Serve as key daily contact for assigned clients and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate
- Respond to client information requests, questions, and service issues
- Coordinate with outside vendors and internal business partners to resolve client issues
- Oversee client conversion and de-conversion processes, meeting tight deadlines and resolving project obstacles
- Implement new client services in coordination with internal and external parties
- Represent the Bank in civic, government, community, charitable, banking, and professional groups
- Review and approve fee invoices and monitor accurate billing and payment
- Meet with clients as needed
- Use CRM to maintain records of client communications
- Participate in special projects
- Provide guidance to more junior members
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry
- 4 year college degree required and/or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in an environment stressing individual accountability and team-based performance
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external clients
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Commercial credit underwriting experience required
