Job Description
Billing Platform consultant implementing and customizing enterprise Quote-to-Cash solutions for IT services clients. Designing integrations, billing workflows, and technical delivery across business and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, develop, integrate, unit test, and support Billing Platform implementations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams
- Configure and customize Billing Platform according to business and functional requirements
- Develop technical solutions using Billing Platform scripting, APIs, and configuration capabilities
- Build and maintain billing workflows, rating rules, invoicing, taxation, payments, collections, and revenue-related processes
- Configure product catalog, pricing, subscriptions, usage billing, tax configuration, and billing schedules
- Design and develop integrations between Billing Platform and enterprise applications
- Develop REST/SOAP API integrations
- Develop unit test cases and support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
- Drive technical solutioning from customer business processes and functional specifications through delivery
- Lead customer business discussions, requirements discovery, problem framing, solution workshops, and technical solution delivery
- Collaborate in rapid-paced implementation environments to deliver customer results
Requirements:
- 3–12 years of experience
- Experience implementing and customizing Billing Platform SaaS solutions for enterprise Quote-to-Cash transformations
- Ability to configure and customize Billing Platform based on business and functional requirements
- Experience developing technical solutions using Billing Platform scripting, APIs, and configuration capabilities
- Experience building and maintaining billing workflows, rating rules, invoicing, taxation, payments, collections, and revenue-related processes
- Experience configuring product catalogs, pricing, subscriptions, usage billing, tax configuration, and billing schedules
- Experience designing and developing integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle ERP, NetSuite, CRM systems, payment gateways, tax engines, and data warehouses
- Experience developing REST/SOAP API integrations
- Strong hands-on billing platform experience, including APIs, integrations, and data reconciliation
- Working knowledge of SQL and reporting tools
- Experience developing unit test cases and supporting SIT and UAT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivery excellence
- Experience working in global onsite–offshore delivery models
- Experience translating client requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
- Ability to understand customer business processes and functional specifications and drive technical solutioning through delivery
- Ability to lead customer business discussions, discover requirements, frame problem statements, lead solution workshops, and deliver technical solutions
- Strong team-player and communication skills at business and technical levels
- Nice-to-have skills in Zuora Billing, Oracle ORMB, SAP BRIM, or similar billing applications
- Technical skills: API, SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, and XML
- BillingPlatform Partner Essential Certification (L1), Partner Pro Certification (L2), or Partner Elite Certification (L3)
