Job Description
3D Environment Artist creating photorealistic environments and game-ready assets for Virtuos’ Volmi game development studio. Using Unreal Engine 5 and 3D modeling tools across global projects.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality photorealistic assets that comply with the game's art and design guidelines
- Create high-quality assets based on provided concepts
- Ensure all art assets meet the game's quality standards through regular reviews and constructive feedback
- Communicate with the client, discuss different stages of game development, propose ideas, and help establish an efficient production pipeline
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar game development role
- Understanding of AAA and Nanite pipelines
- Strong skills in creating high-quality 3D environment props and game-ready assets
- Solid knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing software: 3ds Max/Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5, including asset import, testing, debugging, Blueprint preparation, and shader setup
- Experience optimizing assets to ensure high performance and compliance with technical requirements in UE5
- English level: A2+
