Job Description

3D Technical Artist optimizing assets for Unity with a focus on VR and Mobile projects. Collaborate with teams to enhance creation pipelines and develop visual properties through shaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize materials, models, and textures in Unity, ensuring the best balance between performance and visual fidelity
  • Work on mesh optimization, including creation, preparation, and export workflows
  • Keep projects organized by using the minimal necessary number of materials and textures
  • Operate within a structured pipeline, adhering to technical constraints and production guidelines
  • Collaborate with the CG Lead and Pipeline Manager to improve the 3D model creation and import pipeline
  • Create and edit shaders and materials using Shader Graph and/or HLSL
  • Develop procedural and parametric shaders to enable dynamic control of visual properties and real-time optimizations

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Unity (focus on VR and/or Mobile)
  • Solid knowledge of 3D asset optimization for real-time applications
  • Experience with Shader Graph and/or HLSL
  • Good organizational skills and attention to technical details
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Prior experience with virtual reality projects (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of production pipelines for real-time applications (advantageous)
  • Experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar (advantageous)
