Job Description

Senior Director of Sales leading and inspiring a team in the Optical Lens industry. Utilizing Salesforce CRM to drive revenue growth and manage the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture focused on accountability, clear expectations, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee territory management and ensure optimal coverage and resource allocation
  • Define and communicate clear performance expectations and KPIs across the sales organization
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and drive data-informed decisions
  • Use data to inform segmentation strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and grow revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers including optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, and lab partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align sales strategies with business goals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and customer success
  • Deliver regular performance updates to executive leadership and contribute to strategic planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience related to functional area
  • Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
  • Progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in the optical or healthcare industry
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and leveraging data for performance management
  • Strong understanding of the optical lens market, including sales to doctors and labs
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a bias for action
