Job Description
Game Engineer developing interactive gameplay systems for mobile-first experiences. Leading technical development of modular game frameworks with AI-assisted workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Build interactive gameplay systems for mobile-first experiences (web and/or native)
- Develop modular game frameworks that support multiple game types
- Use AI-assisted and agentic workflows to rapidly prototype, iterate, and tune gameplay systems
- Implement core mechanics (scoring, timing, streaks, rewards)
- Integrate with backend APIs (player data, leaderboards, progression)
- Support data-driven tuning (e.g. values controlled via JSON/config)
- Optimize performance across devices and environments
- Provide technical leadership on game systems and architecture
Requirements:
- +5 years of experience building interactive systems using web or mobile technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript or similar)
- Experience working in AI-forward, agentic development workflows (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) and leveraging them to accelerate development
- Experience with modular, reusable systems (not one-off builds)
- Comfortable working with API-driven and data-configurable systems
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (able to communicate effectively in written and spoken form in professional settings)
