Job Description
Accounting and Finance Intern supporting projects, research, and reporting for Banner Health, a nationally recognized healthcare provider. Remote, part-time opportunity for Arizona-based undergraduate students or recent graduates.
Responsibilities:
- Work up to one year under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee
- Expand and develop knowledge through exposure to roles related to Accounting or Finance
- Participate on work teams and contribute to projects and initiatives
- Perform various tasks as needed by the assigned unit or department
- Conduct research and prepare reports on assigned topics or projects
- Provide service to internal and external customers as a team member
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with coursework related to the internship OR general knowledge normally obtained through completion of a college degree
- Undergraduate-level student pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance, or recent graduate within the last 6 months
- Located within Arizona
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- General knowledge related to the department/unit/area of study
- Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary, depending on assignment
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred
