Job Description

Advisor Test Engineer leading and managing testing lifecycle for Medicaid projects at Gainwell. Collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality delivery and effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the testing lifecycle for DDI and M&O projects
  • Define testing strategy, scope, and schedules for large-scale projects
  • Develop and implement standard Test CoE processes, templates, and guidelines
  • Plan, track, and report testing metrics regularly
  • Supervise and manage work allocation and resource capacity
  • Monitor productivity and ensure seamless delivery across multiple projects
  • Manage project scope, issues, and changes; conduct risk assessments
  • Interface with functional, regression, performance, automation, TDM, environment support, and release management teams
  • Drive root cause analysis for defects and implement prevention strategies.
  • Ensure day-to-day client management, service delivery scope, schedule, and quality.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing and QA
  • At least 4 years in a leadership role
  • Familiarity with healthcare
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with test and defect management tools (e.g., ALM)
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects and distributed teams
  • Experience with SQL for test data and backend validation
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
