Job Description
AI Automation Engineer responsible for automating business processes and developing RPA bots for a cosmetic company. Collaborating across departments to enhance stability and quality in workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes together with business units and develop concepts for automated implementation
- Develop, test, and implement RPA bots (e.g., using UiPath or comparable tools)
- Design and implement AI-assisted agents/workflows (tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, evaluation)
- Maintain, support, and further develop existing bots and workflows
- Identify opportunities and continuously optimize automation processes — focusing on stability, quality, and value
- Interfaces & integrations: create and extend interfaces for agents (e.g., agent - SAP (MCP))
Requirements:
- Degree or vocational qualification in an IT-related field (e.g., (business) informatics, computer science, IT specialist) or an equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in RPA/workflow automation and/or AI-driven workflows/agents
- Experience analyzing business processes and developing automation concepts together with business stakeholders
- Hands-on experience in developing, testing, and operating RPA bots (UiPath or similar), including maintenance/monitoring
- Experience implementing AI agents/workflows (tool-calling, prompting, guardrails, evaluation)
- Strong knowledge of interfaces & integrations (REST/JSON, authentication), ideally with SAP connectivity
- Solid fundamentals in software development (e.g., Python/JavaScript), Git, logging/monitoring, and clear documentation
- Strong communicator, structured and team-oriented — enjoys pragmatic solutions with measurable benefits.
