Job Description
AI Engineer architecting HCL healthcare portal modernization for CI&T. Building Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot solutions on AWS using agentic SDLC and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build the modernization solution for HCL portals, leading development in Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot for AWS cloud, from architecture through tested code
- Participate in strategically mapping the current environment and defining the target architecture with the architect
- Elicit, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements with business and technology teams, using Jira, Confluence, and Miro
- Build, customize, and orchestrate agents, skills, sub-agents, commands, and harnesses to accelerate application development and reduce lead time
- Apply software architecture and engineering fundamentals, including microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, TDD, and automation
- Translate functional requirements into viable, simple, and scalable technical solutions while avoiding over-engineering
- Evaluate solutions, agents, and skills through evals, testing, and red teaming
- Apply Scrum and Kanban, document activities, and propose continuous improvements
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience in Java development with Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js
- Knowledge of AWS cloud, including application architecture and deployment
- Strong command of modern architectures: microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, and TDD
- Familiarity with documentation and collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, and Miro
- Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with business and technology teams
- Analytical ability and critical thinking to assess requests and translate them into solutions
- Experience with or familiarity with agentic SDLC and using AI as a development accelerator (preferred)
