Job Description
Forward Deployed Engineer building AI agents and API integrations for Nielsen Gracenote’s entertainment metadata platform. Leading technical pre-sales, proofs of concept, and customer implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales to apply Gracenote’s go-to-market strategy and demonstrate AI solutions to customer stakeholders
- Lead discovery sessions, understand customer use cases and AI-based architectures, and identify value propositions for Gracenote metadata
- Develop and run proofs of concept
- Own and secure customer engagement and adoption through contract signature
- Design, build, and maintain focused AI agents demonstrating Gracenote Video MCP Server capabilities
- Translate entertainment workflows such as conversational search, catalog enrichment, and personalized recommendations into prototypes
- Deploy agents on frameworks such as Google or AWS frameworks
- Analyze customer environments and recommend integration patterns for AI workflows
- Test and validate new MCP tools and features as “Customer Zero”
- Guide developers through technical adoption with code-level guidance and integration documentation
- Help customers use JSON-RPC 2.0 for API/server interaction
- Represent customer needs in product roadmaps and translate requirements into product inquiries and technical documentation
- Establish implementation SLAs and best practices for Tier 1 and Tier 2 global accounts
Requirements:
- Solid grasp of agent creation and agentic deployment frameworks and MCP tooling
- Understanding of LLM use of MCP primitives: Tools, Resources, and Prompts
- Knowledge of JSON-RPC 2.0
- Practical experience with AWS Cognito for identity management, user authentication, and secure API access control
- Experience designing, deploying, or observing multi-step AI agents using Google ADK, AWS Bedrock Agents, LangChain, or LlamaIndex preferred
- Understanding of MCP tool chaining, system prompt engineering, function calling across Gemini, Claude, and GPT, and step-level tracing or response evaluation
- Ability to navigate enterprise security requirements including OAuth/OIDC and data privacy
- Strong experience in Python or TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience connecting MCP clients and servers to managed enterprise foundation models via AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Microsoft Azure AI / Foundry, etc.
- Familiarity with large-scale structured datasets, content discovery architectures, and search and recommendation engine mechanics
- Familiarity with the CTV/Streaming and entertainment ecosystem welcome but not required
- Proven customer interaction, consultative leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel globally to customer sites up to 40% of the time
