Job Description
Analytics Consultant producing valuable provider network insights to improve healthcare quality. Collaborating with teams to create actionable reports and analyses in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Producing valuable provider network insights that drive improvements to the quality of all lines of business
- Creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs
- Providing consultation to users and working on cross-functional teams to address the divisions issues
- Performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research needs
- Interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment
- Working closely with customers to build relationships
- Continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the division's data in order to meet business needs
- Analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
- Identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
- Understanding and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights
- Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python
- Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.
