Job Description
Antitrust counsel advising global clients on competition law, merger control, and regulatory investigations. Supporting legal departments through Axiom’s on-demand legal talent and AI platform.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on antitrust and competition law issues across global markets
- Support merger control reviews and antitrust analysis for mergers and acquisitions
- Assist with government investigations, regulatory inquiries, and related litigation
- Provide day-to-day guidance to business teams on competition risks
- Contribute to antitrust compliance programs, policies, and internal guidance
- Partner with product, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders to assess and address competition issues
Requirements:
- Experience advising on antitrust, competition law, or related regulatory matters
- Experience supporting government investigations and regulatory inquiries
- Strong knowledge of merger control and antitrust analysis in M&A transactions
- Proven ability to counsel business teams on competition risks and practical compliance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills
- Juris Doctor degree
- Active license to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction
- Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, providing proof of identity, and possessing the necessary legal authorization to work
- Preferred: Experience advising technology companies or working in the technology industry
- Preferred: Experience with cross-border competition matters and global regulatory regimes
- Preferred: Experience supporting antitrust litigation or enforcement matters
