Job Description
Application Architect designing scalable payment integrity and claims solutions for HCSC, a U.S. healthcare insurer. Leading architecture, integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Advance the Payment Integrity Product portfolio
- Partner with Product, Business, Clinical, Operations, and Technology teams
- Design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions
- Prevent inaccurate payments and optimize claims adjudication
- Strengthen payment integrity capabilities and improve operational efficiency
- Define and execute application architecture strategies aligned with business objectives and enterprise roadmaps
- Guide complex solution designs across integrated healthcare platforms
- Serve as a subject matter expert for payment integrity technologies
- Ensure seamless integration of applications, databases, and middleware solutions
- Deliver innovative solutions supporting healthcare outcomes and digital transformation goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of Information Technology experience, OR technical certification and/or college coursework with 6 years of Information Technology experience, OR 8 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience in application architecture, solution design, or product architecture
- Experience with application development platforms and modern programming technologies
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies and API-based architecture
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Sponsorship is not available, including if you are currently on OPT
- Must be able to work remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii
