Job Description
Applied AI Engineer developing user-facing AI features for Automattic's diverse products. Collaborating in a fast-paced environment to innovate and enhance user experiences globally.
Responsibilities:
- ship user-facing AI features across Automattic’s product ecosystem
- collaborate with PMs, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced environment
- experiment and scale successful AI innovations from prototype to production
Requirements:
- shipped AI features that users actually use
- strong full-stack development (PHP, TypeScript, React)
- production experience with LLMs at meaningful scale
- building AI-powered user interfaces that perform well at scale
- track record of technical leadership or influence on high-performing teams
