Job Description
Applied Engineer building customer integrations and accounting data pipelines for DualEntry’s AI-native ERP. Embedding on projects, shipping full-stack systems, and feeding reusable patterns into the core finance platform.
Responsibilities:
- Build and embed on named customer projects, owning them end to end from discovery through design, build, deployment, and verification
- Build idempotent, resumable, and auditable migration and integration pipelines on Temporal
- Model and load customer accounting data into Postgres correctly, including reconciliation against existing systems
- Build internal tooling to turn recurring one-offs into repeatable solutions
- Feed implementation patterns back into the core product and productize or hand off permanent capabilities
- Compress the path from customer request to shipped product
Requirements:
- Hardcore work ethic and high agency
- 5+ years shipping production full stack software end to end and unsupervised
- Django and Django REST Framework, plus advanced Postgres knowledge beyond ORM defaults
- Ability to read query plans and run migrations against live customer data
- Next.js and React with TypeScript
- Durable workflow experience; Temporal preferred, Celery acceptable
- Direct customer exposure, including scoping problems with customers and shipping solutions
- Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, rate limits, and reconciling disagreeing systems
