Job Description
Assistant supporting KION ITS EMEA’s Vice President of Global Technology Strategy. Coordinating administration, meetings, travel, projects, and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Vice President, Global Technology Strategy, with administrative and organizational tasks
- Independently and proactively coordinate schedules, priorities, and day-to-day collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management
- Organize and professionally prepare and follow up on meetings, workshops, and events
- Prepare presentations, decision papers, and other materials for meetings and management appointments
- Track outstanding tasks and agreed actions, ensuring transparency regarding deadlines and responsibilities
- Organize travel management and subsequent travel expense reporting
- Support the structured organization of the department
- Independently take ownership of selected special assignments and projects
- Communicate confidently with international stakeholders across the KION Group and with external partners
Requirements:
- Completed commercial or business administration training
- Further qualification as a business specialist or business administrator is desirable
- Ideally, professional experience in office management and/or secretarial work
- Independent, structured, and proactive working style
- High level of reliability, discretion, and sense of responsibility
- Professional and confident communication with contacts at different hierarchical levels
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications
- Affinity for additional IT applications, such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and Workday
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and resilience
- Strong organizational skills
- Fluent communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to work in an international and dynamic environment
