Job Description
Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist at Northrop Grumman supporting supply chain management activities. Involves RFQ process, supplier management, and program proposal support.
Responsibilities:
- Support program proposal requirements
- Research part and supplier usage history
- Develop compliant RFQ package for supplier quotes in support of program proposals
- Coordinate and manage RFQ process for supplier quotes
- Analyze RFQ responses
- Provide written updates to suppliers and NG program team
- On-board suppliers in multiple ERP systems (SAP and Costpoint)
- Provide invoice support
Requirements:
- Has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Having majored in Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics / Applied Economics, Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, or similar from an accredited university
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
