Job Description
Remote Litigation Attorney focusing on employment law for a plaintiff-side firm. Responsibilities include managing cases and negotiating settlements for clients in Minnesota and Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions
- Arguing motions, negotiating settlements, and trying cases
- Independently manage discovery, dispositive motion practice, and depositions
- Clean and persuasive writing
- Consistently move cases forward without allowing files to stagnate
- Credibly value cases and negotiate from evidence
Requirements:
- Active Minnesota attorney license (required)
- 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally in employment law or a closely related practice area
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and organized — remote work requires it
- Comfort with legal technology and cloud-based workflows
- A genuine commitment to representing employees
