Job Description
Microsoft Azure Cloud Developer modernizing enterprise analytics and reporting for PSI, a technology services company. Building Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and Power Platform solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support solutions using Microsoft Azure services, Power Apps, and Power Platform technologies
- Support cloud modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy reporting and analytics solutions to Azure and Databricks environments
- Participate actively as a scrum team member in velocity planning, sprint ceremonies, demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Design and code high-quality deliverables according to standards and design principles
- Produce quality and timely deliverables
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, risks, and opportunities
- Build informative reports and dashboards, apply statistical methods, and conduct deep investigations
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of complex performance, scaling, and custom configuration issues
- Design KPI-based dashboards and reports using data visualization to communicate customer insights and highlight hotspots
- Work with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Data Scientists to define back-end requirements for data products
- Investigate data to discover and explain correlations and trends
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to develop an analytics portfolio aligned with stakeholder goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years experience in software development; an additional 8 years of technical experience may be substituted for the education requirement
- Experience with Databricks, including analytics, reporting, and data transformation capabilities
- Experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including understanding existing dashboard architecture, data models, and reporting solutions
- Proficient use of Power Apps and SharePoint
- Knowledge of SQL programming and database capabilities
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Experience working with large datasets and performing advanced data analysis and investigation
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical and data-related issues
