Job Description
Backend/Platform Engineer for TaskUs developing core platform services and APIs for AI workflows. Responsible for building scalable backend services and collaborating with AI teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build core platform services and APIs that power AI workflows, integrations, and enterprise deployments
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs
- Develop microservices for QA workflows, scoring, and insights delivery
- Integrate with internal and external systems (CRM, contact center, etc.)
- Build orchestration layers for AI workflows
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with AI and data teams for seamless integration
Requirements:
- 3–8 years of experience
- Strong backend development (Python, Node.js, or Java)
- Experience building REST/gRPC APIs
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway)
- Understanding of system design and distributed systems
