Job Description
BMS Project Engineer leading complex building automation projects for Honeywell. Designing, integrating, and commissioning HVAC control systems using Niagara 4 and CPO Studio.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver complex BMS projects from design through commissioning
- Engineer, implement, and document electronic BMS systems
- Identify customer needs and translate them into workable solutions
- Produce hardware BMS design deliverables from specifications and construction drawings
- Support the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and quality assurance
- Develop detailed BMS designs, control strategies, and HVAC integration plans
- Manage project performance and technical execution
- Develop and manage risks and opportunities
- Generate BMS databases and required documentation
- Generate schematics for BMS panels and other controls diagrams
- Assist sales with project estimates
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or considerable experience within an Electrical/Electronic field
- At least 5+ years of BMS/HVAC engineering experience
- Expertise in electronic BMS systems, including hardware and software
- Expertise in Niagara Framework design and commissioning
- Proficiency in CPO Studio for control logic development and system configuration
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure and remote system interconnections
- Expertise in Control Panels design and/or Motor Control Centres design
- Solid understanding of high-end BMS applications
- Proactive/self learner of new products and applications
- Ability to find solutions to complex problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions
- Ability to be organised, logical, and achieve agreed delivery deadlines
