Job Description

Bookkeeper Virtual Assistant managing finances across multiple rental properties. Independently resolve discrepancies and provide actionable financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple rental properties.
  • Reconcile accounts and track tenant payments.
  • Maintain property-ledger integrity and generate financial reports.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies independently.
  • Handle bank reconciliation and credit card tracking.
  • Audit ledgers monthly and manage accounts payable/receivable.
  • Produce property-level financial statements and support tax preparation documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience in multi-property environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Buildium (or similar property management software).
  • Must work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions without daily direction.
  • Strong analytical mindset; ability to detect, investigate, and resolve discrepancies accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for async reporting.
  • High attention to detail; mistakes in reconciliations or reporting are unacceptable.
