Job Description
Business Analyst supporting project delivery through data-driven insights for Appriss Retail. Utilizing Jira and BI tools for reporting, forecasting, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain monthly and quarterly reports on project performance, timelines, and resource utilization
- Develop and optimize dashboards in Jira and other BI tools to visualize key metrics
- Support executive-level reporting with clear summaries and visualizations
- Analyze historical data to forecast go-live date shifts, resource availability, and workload distribution
- Collaborate with PMs to refine project planning models using real-time data
- Ensure data integrity across Jira and related systems through regular audits and reconciliation
- Maintain and improve data pipelines for tracking QA/UAT results, implementation workflows, and project milestones
- Monitor and report on project health indicators including status trends, risk flags, and milestone adherence
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making across implementation and scalability initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a project management or operations environment
- Proficiency with Jira, Excel, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, eazyBI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
