Job Description
Business Systems Analyst serving as technical liaison for Retirement Benefits Operations. Collaborating with programmers and vendors to ensure effective administration of benefit plans.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical liaison for Retirement Benefits Operations and Technical Operations
- Analyze programming changes and/or system enhancements; test and verify accuracy
- Collaborate with programmers, operations, and external vendors to drive quality output
- Provide technical support and training to end users
- Design and evaluate operational reports, queries, data, and procedures
- Analyze data files, identify trends/issues, and collaborate with operations
- Write requirements for software changes, coordinate changes with vendors and operations
- Represent Retirement Benefits Operations on projects for client implementations
- Document system and client support processes
Requirements:
- High school diploma, 4-year college degree preferred
- Two years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a benefit administration environment
- Experience working with group Retirement Plans, emphasis on Defined Benefit Plans
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Suite
- Basic understanding of business practices and project management methodology
- Understanding of database systems and applications
- Collaborative, accountable, takes initiative, and coordinates with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
