Job Description
Chief Technology Officer overseeing enterprise IT, client platforms, and automation for a global energy advisory business. Leading distributed technology operations across North America and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Own enterprise IT and operations across multiple countries, including network, cybersecurity, endpoints, service desk, identity and access
- Own internal business systems, including Dynamics 365 CRM, Finance & Operations and the reporting stack
- Manage a portfolio of client-facing platforms across two regions, including maintenance, roadmap and connectivity
- Drive AI and automation adoption with business teams to map processes and introduce growth-supporting tooling
- Manage technology costs, vendor relationships and managed-service arrangements
- Lead a distributed technology team across several countries
Requirements:
- Experience leading technology in a mid-sized organisation, covering both internal corporate systems and client-facing products
- Strong Microsoft estate background: Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, M365
- Hands-on use of modern tooling
- Demonstrable experience managing vendors, licensing and technology cost
- Comfort operating across multiple countries and time zones
- Practical, business-first approach
- Exposure to data platform work: Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric, Power BI (useful but not required)
- Experience in a business that has recently changed ownership or become standalone (useful but not required)
- Energy sector experience (preferred, not required)
