Job Description

Child and adolescent psychiatrist providing virtual anxiety and OCD care for children, teens, and families. Delivering evaluations, medication management, and collaborative multidisciplinary treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication treatment plans, and ongoing medication management services to children and teens
  • Collaborate with the InStride care team and outpatient pediatricians and psychiatrists
  • Participate in clinical team meetings focused on patient care, collaboration, and education
  • Schedule patients as indicated
  • Complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner
  • Provide feedback on workflow improvements
  • Offer ideas for program growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with families, primary care physicians, and outpatient prescribers to meet patients’ needs
  • Maintain a professional, friendly atmosphere for patients, families, staff, and referring physicians

Requirements:

  • New Jersey MD licensure appropriate to the clinical discipline
  • Openness to acquiring medical licenses beyond New Jersey as care expands to additional states
  • Commitment to compassionate, thoughtful treatment
  • Expertise in medication management for children and teens with anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD
  • Ability to complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner
  • Comfort working on a care team and seeking or providing support
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Basic computer skills and facility with, and openness to, new technologies
  • Cultural competence regarding diversity and inclusion
