Job Description

Analyst supporting a multi-national team in climate policy projects for public and private clients at ICF. Engaging stakeholders, providing analysis and translating data into recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of projects for public and private clients
  • Support the deployment of discrete tasks and activities
  • Provide robust and sound qualitative and quantitative analysis and support the translation of complex data into meaningful and impactful recommendations
  • Engage with stakeholders through both quantitative and qualitative surveys
  • Support ICF’s thought leadership in climate policy, identifying emerging trends and opportunities and help to translate these into new service offers that will benefit clients

Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken English and excellent writing skills
  • Master’s degree in climate or environmental sciences, environmental economics, environmental engineering, political sciences, or a related discipline
  • Professional working experience of 1-2 years in the field of climate policy at EU level, with an excellent understanding of the latest policy developments (e.g. Net Zero Industry Act; Climate Law; EU ETS; etc.)
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis capability, including advanced knowledge of Excel and equivalent tools
  • Proven communication skills and track record in the field of stakeholder engagement, especially within public authorities and the business and finance community
  • Ability to work within multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary consulting teams spread across several countries and time zones
