Job Description
Microsoft Cloud Project Consultant responsible for leading the design, planning, and delivery of IT projects. Ensuring secure, scalable solutions aligned with client business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the design, planning, and delivery of cloud-based IT projects
- Managing projects from initial assessment through implementation and transition to support
- Conducting technical assessments of client IT infrastructure
- Recommending infrastructure improvements aligned with business needs
- Designing cloud and infrastructure solutions to enable cost estimation and proposal development
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation
- Maintaining commercial awareness and assessing impact on timelines and costs
- Defining clear project scope, deliverables, and expectations with clients
- Executing technical implementations independently or as part of a team
- Acting as the primary client contact, providing updates and managing expectations
- Coordinating with vendors and partners to ensure seamless delivery
- Managing project changes and exceptions
- Ensuring proper documentation and smooth handover to support teams post-implementation
- Maintaining accurate records of infrastructure changes and project activities
- Logging time and updates in internal systems
- Producing high-quality documentation, including architecture diagrams and reports
- Delivering a high standard of customer service and building strong client relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Required certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102) or Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
- Microsoft Windows Server (AZ-800, AZ-801)
- Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft 365 Security Administrator (SC-300)
- Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
- Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure or cloud projects
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solution design and implementation
- Experience with cloud migrations (e.g., Office 365, Azure)
- Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, and cloud technologies
