Job Description
Commissioning Engineer carrying out activities for sorting and distribution systems in the CEP industry. Supporting hardware migration and conducting customer training with travel requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out commissioning activities using the TIA application software (PLC / WinCC) for sorting and distribution systems in existing CEP industry installations.
- Support the development of hardware solutions for PLC control migration S5 → S7 / PC → S7.
- Independently perform root-cause analyses and acceptance tests according to system-specific and customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare customer documentation and conduct customer training sessions.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed a degree in automation engineering or automation informatics; alternatively, a comparable qualification as a technician or master craftsman.
- Initial experience in commissioning conveyor systems.
- Experience with sorting and distribution systems in the CEP industry.
- Good knowledge in S7 control hardware/software, WinCC, drive and inverter technology, networks, and MS Office.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Interest in traveling > 70% of the time throughout Europe.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
