Job Description

Compliance Professional ensuring regulatory compliance through analysis and collaboration with Medicaid markets at Humana. Managing audits, maintaining relationships with agencies, and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Help with the collection and review of materials to ensure contractual compliance with Medicaid states.
  • Work with Regulatory Compliance and state Medicaid markets to meet Readiness and Audit requirements.
  • Research compliance issues and recommends changes that assure compliance with contract obligations
  • Maintain relationships with government agencies.
  • Coordinate site visits for regulators, coordinates implementation and compliance with corrective action plans.
  • Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas.
  • Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
  • Follow established guidelines/procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Compliance regulations experience
  • Must be able to work EST/CST business hours
  • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical experience
  • Medicaid experience
  • Up to 2 years project management experience
