Job Description
Compliance Professional ensuring regulatory compliance through analysis and collaboration with Medicaid markets at Humana. Managing audits, maintaining relationships with agencies, and implementing corrective actions.
Responsibilities:
- Help with the collection and review of materials to ensure contractual compliance with Medicaid states.
- Work with Regulatory Compliance and state Medicaid markets to meet Readiness and Audit requirements.
- Research compliance issues and recommends changes that assure compliance with contract obligations
- Maintain relationships with government agencies.
- Coordinate site visits for regulators, coordinates implementation and compliance with corrective action plans.
- Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas.
- Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
- Follow established guidelines/procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Compliance regulations experience
- Must be able to work EST/CST business hours
- Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical experience
- Medicaid experience
- Up to 2 years project management experience
