Job Description
Content Writer developing engaging B2B content for tech and manufacturing sectors. Engaging with SMEs and creating SEO-friendly material to drive conversions and nurture leads.
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit high-quality content that addresses the pain points and challenges of technical decision-makers (TDMs) and business decision-makers (BDMs) in the tech and manufacturing industries.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and client teams to develop content that aligns with the client's messaging and business objectives.
- Produce content that adheres to SEO best practices, optimizing titles, meta descriptions, and keyword usage for organic search performance.
- Write content across multiple formats, including blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, ebooks, email campaigns, and social media posts.
- Ensure all content is aligned with the client’s branding guidelines, voice, and tone.
- Incorporate storytelling techniques to make technical or complex topics relatable and engaging to the target audience.
- Create content briefs and follow up with feedback loops to ensure timely and high-quality content production.
- Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and news in B2B tech and manufacturing to craft timely and relevant content.
- Collaborate with designers to develop visually engaging content such as infographics, slide decks, and visual presentations.
- Support the content team in developing and maintaining content calendars to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.
- Analyze content performance data and make adjustments to optimize for lead generation and conversion metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B content writing, ideally with a focus on tech and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of B2B buyer personas and buyer journeys in tech and manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience in writing for technical audiences, including TDMs and BDMs.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to create original, well-researched content backed by credible sources.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using keyword research tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and marketing automation tools like HubSpot is preferred.
