Job Description
Contracts Specialist managing commercial procurement agreements for cybersecurity and technology solutions. Negotiating vendor terms, mitigating risks, and overseeing contracts through execution and performance management.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate procurement agreements, including technology, security, and data privacy contracts
- Ensure contract terms align with company policies and risk tolerance
- Identify and mitigate contractual, legal, and commercial risks
- Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Security teams on detailed contract reviews
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve contract-related issues
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Work with Legal, Finance, Security, and business stakeholders to align contract strategies with organizational goals and operational needs
- Manage agreements from intake through execution using contract management tools and systems
- Support post-signature contract reviews and vendor performance management
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience managing commercial contracts within Procurement, Sourcing, or a Commercial Legal environment
- Familiarity with SaaS, cybersecurity, internet infrastructure, OEM suppliers, and marketing technology solutions is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with precision and attention to detail
- Understanding of commercial contract law, data security, and privacy regulations
- Ability to assess risk, identify creative solutions, and provide sound business recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
