Job Description
Controls and Risk Lead responsible for managing accounting control and compliance for US Oncology Network practices. Driving process improvements and risk management in a Fortune 10 healthcare company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve accounting control environment for practices
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategies and policies to manage financial statement risks
- Assess and enhance control environment to ensure compliance and operational excellence
- Identify and mitigate potential financial loss and operational risk
- Develop and implement process improvements to minimize risks
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives
- Develop and evaluate internal audit programs
- Ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of accounting and reporting experience
- Proven ability to lead business/process transformation in a large public company
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, SOX, PCAOB, COSO, and US GAAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
