Job Description
Producer at Complexly crafting and executing creative vision for Crash Course educational videos. Coordinating teams and managing production processes to deliver high-quality content.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and mentor staff to uphold Complexly standards.
- Manage budget line items assigned by their supervisor.
- Approve content before it goes live.
- Monitor episodes after posting and respond to problems if they occur.
- Review and interpret analytical data to track viewership trends.
- Ensure compliance with Complexly’s rights and licenses on assigned projects.
- Supervise external communications for projects in collaboration with the Communications Coordinator and their supervisor, including but not limited to social media, promotion, and marketing.
- Implement channel monetization through ads, paid sponsorships that reflect the brand, merchandise, and other avenues as directed by their supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 years previous production experience, including at least 1 year as a full producer required
- Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Working knowledge of rights clearances and copyright required
- Previous experience with Air Table is a plus
- Previous leadership experience preferred
