Job Description

Bilingual Spanish representative supporting federal student-loan borrowers for Central Research. Handling high-volume calls, repayment questions, applications, and account assistance remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist student loan borrowers with account questions, repayment options, and applications
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center
  • Provide accurate, professional, and courteous support on every call
  • Follow federal regulations, company policies, and data security requirements
  • Meet established performance metrics and quality assurance standards

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of customer service in a business, non-retail environment or call center experience
  • 6+ months of computer experience in a business setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance
  • Not in default on federal student loans
  • Demonstrated financial responsibility
  • No felony convictions within the past 7 years
  • Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility
  • No non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection; wired Ethernet required, no Wi-Fi
  • Quiet, private, and distraction-free home workspace
  • No caregiving responsibilities or other interruptions during scheduled work hours
  • Prior call center experience preferred
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Applicants residing in California, Hawaii, New York, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, and the city of Philadelphia are not eligible for consideration
