Job Description
Dashboard Developer creating Tableau-style dashboards for CMS Medicare/Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse analysis. Supporting GDIT’s government technology and mission-services programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and managers to collect requirements and convert needs into visualizations
- Convert raw data into dashboards that enable efficient decision-making
- Maintain and update existing dashboards
- Train end users on how to interact with dashboards
- Perform quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy
- Present monthly visualizations at large meetings
- Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse detected in Medicare and Medicaid programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science and at least 2+ years of related experience
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar dashboard platforms
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of data modeling
- Experience working with large datasets
- Ability to create data visualizations presenting complex analyses and illustrating trends
- Knowledge of dashboard design best practices, including accessibility and usability standards
- Familiarity with R or Python
- Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years
- No US citizenship requirement
- NACI (T1) public trust/other requirement
