Job Description

Dashboard Developer creating Tableau-style dashboards for CMS Medicare/Medicaid fraud, waste, and abuse analysis. Supporting GDIT’s government technology and mission-services programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and managers to collect requirements and convert needs into visualizations
  • Convert raw data into dashboards that enable efficient decision-making
  • Maintain and update existing dashboards
  • Train end users on how to interact with dashboards
  • Perform quality checks on visualizations for data accuracy
  • Present monthly visualizations at large meetings
  • Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse detected in Medicare and Medicaid programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science and at least 2+ years of related experience
  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid programs
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar dashboard platforms
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of data modeling
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to create data visualizations presenting complex analyses and illustrating trends
  • Knowledge of dashboard design best practices, including accessibility and usability standards
  • Familiarity with R or Python
  • Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years
  • No US citizenship requirement
  • NACI (T1) public trust/other requirement
