Job Description

Data Analyst supporting asset management and planning analytics for a power infrastructure tech company. Collaborating with Solutions Consultants to create data templates and strategies for client engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Solutions Consultants in the preparation of data templates to configure ENGIN™ to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with Solutions Consultants to understand detailed data requirements and the associated customer needs
  • Analyze, cleanse, and transform data to prepare data templates
  • Identify and communicate any data related gaps, quality issues, or deficiencies discovered
  • Collaborate with Solutions Consultants to strategize and rectify data deficiencies
  • Complete key deliverables including source-to-target mapping, documentation of business rules and ETL processes, producing data flow diagrams
  • Support the product testing and user acceptance testing process by completing test cases as per internal standards
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders when engaged on projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, or equivalent relevant experience in a related discipline
  • 2+ years experience in the power utility industry or in a similar engineering-focused data analytics role
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and propose solutions
  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management, GIS, CMMS, AIP, ERP, and/or network simulation software is particularly valuable
  • Experience with software project management schedules/concepts (e.g., Scrum/Agile)
