Job Description
Data Engineer collecting, modelling, analysing, and visualising data for In Marketing We Trust, a technical performance marketing agency. Building ETL pipelines and automation workflows for medium-to-large client projects across APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and clean data from various sources
- Design and implement data models, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and build predictive models to solve business challenges
- Develop reports and visualisations using Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker
- Work closely with clients to understand business problems and provide actionable insights
- Continuously improve internal workflows by automating repetitive tasks
- Support account expansion efforts by identifying opportunities to provide additional value to clients
- Deliver data pipeline quality, timely projects, client impact, reporting quality, and automation improvement
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data modelling
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, plus other relevant languages/tools
- Experience building ETL pipelines and transforming data from multiple sources
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred
- GCP certification preferred
- Knowledge of big data processing such as Spark or Hadoop preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred
- Full-time employment requires living and working in Australia with an AUS tax number; otherwise contractor status applies
