Job Description
Data Manager overseeing data integrity and infrastructure for civic education organization Generation Citizen. Supporting data analysis, technical support, and strategic insights for equity-centered impact.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integrity and accessibility of Generation Citizen's data
- Support upgrades to current data tools including building dashboards and improving reports
- Manage data visualization software and refine existing dashboards
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues and internal data requests
- Assist staff with the implementation of new systems and processes for data integrity
- Produce data visualizations for key events, trainings, and reports
- Ensure data systems promote equity-centered insights
- Support strategic planning by identifying trends and opportunities revealed through data
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, information technology, data visualization, or similar field
- Previous experience or a strong interest in the non-profit sector, civic education, or social justice is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability in data management, cleaning, integrity, and analysis
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and improve existing systems
- Attention to detail required for reliable reporting and accurate data cleaning
- Organization & time management skills to manage multiple concurrent tasks efficiently
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
