Job Description
Developer Platforms Specialist at AtkinsRéalis ensuring safe and high-quality software delivery through developer platforms governance and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end governance framework for developer platforms
- Define and maintain platform standards, policies, access models and guardrails
- Act as the decision authority for platform usage patterns
- Own the portfolio of developer platforms and tooling
- Define and manage platform lifecycles
- Establish self-service provisioning models
- Define and implement monitoring and reporting capabilities
- Define and mature the operational model for developer platform management
- Lead change management for platform upgrades and enhancements
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, standards and learning materials
Requirements:
- Expert-level experience with modern developer platforms and tooling
- Deep practical knowledge of pipelines, repository strategies, security controls, identity and access models, and automation patterns
- Demonstrated experience in platform governance, lifecycle management and enterprise-scale enablement
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and modern engineering practices
- Proven ability to influence engineering standards and drive adoption across diverse teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
