Job Description
DevOps Automation Engineer automating AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and CI/CD delivery for Quantrics. Improving reliability, observability, scalability, and operational efficiency across engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines to improve software delivery speed, consistency, and reliability
- Implement DevOps best practices supporting continuous integration, continuous delivery, and operational efficiency
- Optimize deployment processes to reduce manual effort and improve release success rates
- Architect, manage, provision, and maintain scalable, secure, performant, and cost-efficient AWS cloud infrastructure
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads and maintain Kubernetes platform health and reliability
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation frameworks and standardize provisioning and configuration processes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues
- Develop and validate disaster recovery, backup, and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams
- Provide technical guidance and operational support to improve platform adoption and engineering productivity
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives enhancing system performance and team effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing AWS cloud environments
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code practices
- Exposure to cloud-native operations, platform engineering, and site reliability methodologies
- Experience supporting monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational observability solutions
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain DevOps automation solutions
- Ability to provision, manage, optimize, and secure AWS cloud environments
- Ability to deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes environments
- Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and environment standardization through code-driven approaches
- Ability to establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response capabilities
- Knowledge of Terraform, Crossplane, and New Relic is considered an advantage
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering, QA, security, and operations teams
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Occasional overtime and on-call support may be required
- Preferred certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Automation are not required
