Job Description
DevOps Engineer designing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure for Object Edge. Responsibilities include automation, container management, and cloud monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and tune various Linux distributions including Amazon Linux 2/2023, CentOS/RHEL, and Ubuntu. Handle kernel tuning, process management, and troubleshooting.
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) and Amazon ECS.
- Configure and maintain VPC architectures, including Subnets, Route Tables, ELB/ALB, and security protocols via ACM (Certificate Manager).
- Build and maintain automated deployment workflows using GitHub Actions to ensure seamless code integration and delivery.
- Develop and maintain serverless functions using AWS Lambda and integrate them into the broader infrastructure.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Amazon CloudWatch to ensure system health and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable Python scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with AWS (VPC, ELB, CloudFront, Route53, IAM).
- Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker (ECS).
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation.
- Solid understanding of ACM, SSL/TLS, and AWS security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CloudWatch and other DevOps observability tools.
