Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer designing and building cloud infrastructure for healthcare applications at Alight. Requires DevOps expertise and strong collaboration skills with security and compliance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities supporting healthcare applications
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Drive compliance alignment across DevOps processes
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability across distributed cloud services
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams
- Deliver infrastructure and application deployments during weekend release windows
- Troubleshoot and remediate complex production issues
Requirements:
- 3+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
- Expertise with YAML-based pipelines
- Completed a program of study requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub/GitHub Actions
- Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Expertise with Azure Cosmo DB, Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS), or GitOps tools
- Experience with observability tools such as Azure Application Insight, New Relic, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch
- Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400
