Job Description
DevOps Engineer responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud application operations. Working with cloud-native technologies to optimize development and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and implement infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage source code, configuration management, release management, build and deployment activities.
- Setup and manage integration with partner applications.
- Conduct of performance analyses and tuning as well as error analyses and troubleshooting.
- Consult and implement new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy.
- Create concepts for further automation of services, processes and/or operating models.
- Directly support the project teams in the development, quality assurance accompanying development as well as planning and implementation of product releases.
- Continuously optimize the development and system infrastructure.
- Provide consulting to project teams on areas of expertise also Prototypes/Proof of Concept solutions.
- Research and develop in assigned technology, determines business requirements, propose changes and prepare implementation plans.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Information technologies
- 5 years experience (ICT System)

- Scripting (Bash, Python) - Expert
- Linux Operating System - Expert
- Docker - Expert
- Kubernetes / OpenShift - Advanced
- Git - Expert
- Jenkins / GitLab - Advanced
- Maven / Gradle - Intermediate
- Ansible / Terraform / Puppet - Advanced
- ELK / Prometheus / Icinga / Jaeger / Grafana - Advanced
- Networking - Expert
- Security - Advanced
- Experience in cloud environment / cloud technologies (Azure or AWS or GCP or comparable Private Cloud)
- Experience with databases in container deployments (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis or others)
- Experience with other open source, cloud native technologies/concepts such as (Secret Management, Container Repositories, Ingress/Egress, Service Mesh)
- Experience with proxy (NGINX)
- Experience automation CI/CD and GitOps (ArgoCD or Flux)
- Knowledge of infrastructure capabilities (networking, firewalls, proxies, certificates, webhooks)
- Customer-oriented thinking and handling (service)
- Ability to communicate and work under pressure
- good understanding of concepts and principals in cloud environments
- Logical reasoning and pro active solution finding on a technical level
- independent and teamwork proactivity and proactive solution finding
- Programming experience in GO, Python, Java or other programming languages
- CKA/ CKAD certification
- Good knowledge about ServiceNow
- Good knowledge in ITIL
- Agile Methodology Scrum SAFe
