Job Description
DevOps Engineer administering applications, databases, containers, and Kubernetes clusters for DATAGROUP, a German IT services provider. Supporting customer cloud and container transformation while developing technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and operate applications, databases, middleware, interfaces, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters
- Support customers in migrating and transforming their IT environments to container and cloud technologies
- Continuously develop your skills and stay up to date with common cloud technologies
- Actively collaborate within the team and handle daily tasks together with colleagues
Requirements:
- Strong command-line Linux skills, including filesystem and log file management
- Comfortable working with scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Some experience operating systems in virtualized/containerized environments, especially Docker
- Willingness to work with cloud technologies
- Ideally: experience with PostgreSQL, Dockerfiles, Kubernetes manifests, Ansible, Helm, Terraform, and Git
- Very good German language skills
- Good English communication skills
